We originally saw this this recipe in Town & Country - 30 Best Mocktail Recipes, and of course, decided to add tequila to it to make the real deal. Lauren tried both the non-alcoholic and the tequila versions, and they did not disappoint!
This recipe is low in sugar and quick and easy to make. Watermelon is hydrating so the extra water you consume from it cancels out the dehydrating effect of the tequila, right? We’re going with that logic. Lauren’s 2-year old daughter, calls this the “watermelon smoothie” and requests it daily now. Check out our recipe below and let us know how you liked it. To make, dump all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. We added some crushed ice to make it more like a frosted margarita. You can also add ice cubes if you prefer your Margarita on the rocks. Enjoy!
