Pumpkin spice is everywhere as we head into fall. I happen to love all things pumpkin and look forward to this time each year.
A friend of mine recently posted a healthy recipe for a Homemade Dairy Free Pumpkin Spice Latte on Facebook page. Her post immediately had me craving a latte but I was working from home with no time to head to the store for all the ingredients. I went through my kitchen and threw one together using some serious improvisation. It turned out surprisingly good and tasted like pumpkin even though it had no actual pumpkin in it. You too may be able to scrounge these ingredients up in your own kitchen, so I thought I would share.
Stir it all together and you have a little taste of fall! If you want to get fancy and channel your inner barista, you could add some whip cream and a dash of cinnamon to the top of the whip cream. This of course adds dairy, but sounds delicious.
